1. About CourtNetworks

CourtNetworks is operated by UbD Products Ltd, company number 17445762, registered in England and Wales.

CourtNetworks provides software for organising, discovering, participating in and following sporting and community activity.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, registering for an activity, using a private participant link, posting content or otherwise using an interactive CourtNetworks function after being given the opportunity to read these terms, you agree to them.

If you organise activity or act for an organisation, the Organisation and Organiser Terms also apply.

An organiser or organisation may set separate rules for an activity. Those rules govern participation in that activity; these terms govern use of CourtNetworks.

3. Accounts, age and authority

Self-serve accounts are for people aged 18 or over.

People under 18 may take part through guardian-managed profiles. They do not receive their own CourtNetworks login.

If you manage a profile for another person, you must be authorised to do so.

If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to act for it.

Accounts and other named access rights are personal and must not be shared in a way that misrepresents identity or avoids applicable access or licence requirements.

4. What CourtNetworks provides

CourtNetworks may provide tools for accounts, profiles, registrations, sporting activity, scheduling, results, communications, statistics, organisations, organisers and other related functions.

CourtNetworks is an evolving service. Features may change, improve, be replaced or be withdrawn.

Unless CourtNetworks is expressly identified as the organiser of an activity, CourtNetworks provides the platform but does not organise the activity itself.

5. Your responsibilities

You must:

• provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
• use CourtNetworks lawfully and honestly;
• follow applicable activity rules;
• communicate respectfully;
• protect your account and private access links;
• use other people's information only for legitimate purposes; and
• tell us promptly if you believe your account or access has been compromised.

You must not:

• impersonate another person;
• misrepresent your age, eligibility, authority or identity;
• share access in order to avoid applicable charges or permissions;
• harass, threaten or abuse another person;
• publish another person's private information without authority;
• manipulate sporting or platform records dishonestly;
• scrape or harvest information through unauthorised automated means;
• interfere with security or access controls;
• upload harmful code;
• use CourtNetworks for fraud or another unlawful purpose; or
• infringe another person's legal rights.

6. Organisers and activity decisions

The organiser shown for an activity is responsible for running it, including its rules, eligibility, entry terms, sporting decisions, venue arrangements, scheduling, cancellations and participant-facing information.

CourtNetworks may provide templates, defaults, automation or recommendations. The organiser remains responsible for reviewing and applying them appropriately.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise, CourtNetworks is not an appeals body for ordinary sporting or organiser decisions.

7. Children and guardians

A guardian managing a junior profile is responsible for managing that profile appropriately and for relevant participation decisions.

Junior contact details are not intended for public display.

Sporting information relating to a junior may appear where needed for a public or shared sporting record.

8. Sporting records

CourtNetworks may display information needed to operate and preserve sporting activity, including participant identities intended for display, fixtures, schedules, scores, standings and results.

Shared sporting records may remain after an account is closed, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

9. Messages and user content

You keep any rights you hold in original content you submit.

You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, format, transmit, display and, where reasonably necessary, moderate that content so we can operate and secure CourtNetworks, provide content to intended recipients and comply with law.

Do not post unlawful, abusive, infringing or unnecessarily sensitive information.

We may remove or restrict content where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or comply with law.

10. Paid services

CourtNetworks may offer paid subscriptions, licences, registration charges, transaction charges or other paid services.

The current price, included benefits, limits, renewal terms and other important commercial terms will be shown on the relevant pricing, purchase or checkout surface before you commit.

Those commercial details may change for future purchases or renewal periods.

Where a third-party payment provider is used, its processing charges or terms may apply separately.

Nothing in these terms removes any consumer rights that apply to a paid service.

11. Optional paid player benefits

CourtNetworks may offer optional paid player benefits.

The benefits, price, duration and any fee reductions or other entitlements included will be shown before purchase.

Core sporting records and ordinary participation are not made inaccurate or unavailable merely because a player does not purchase an optional player subscription.

12. Availability and changes

We aim to operate CourtNetworks with reasonable care, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may change, pause or withdraw features where reasonably necessary to improve the service, maintain security, comply with law or respond to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a material change affects a paid service, we will provide the notice and remedies required by applicable law.

13. Intellectual property

CourtNetworks software, branding, designs and proprietary content are owned by UbD Products Ltd or licensed to it.

You may use CourtNetworks only as permitted by these terms.

You must not copy, sell, license, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the platform except where the law expressly permits it.

Sporting facts and records do not become the exclusive property of the person who enters them.

14. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using CourtNetworks at any time.

We may restrict content, functions or access where reasonably necessary because of:

• serious or repeated breach of these terms;
• fraud, impersonation or misuse of access;
• security or safeguarding risk;
• unlawful use;
• non-payment of an amount due;
• loss of authority to act for another person or organisation; or
• a legal or regulatory requirement.

Where practical, we will explain the restriction and provide a route to contact us.

Closing an account does not automatically remove shared sporting records.

15. Liability

CourtNetworks provides software used by organisers and participants to manage activity. Organisers and participants remain responsible for their own decisions, conduct and arrangements.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by matters outside our reasonable control, including organiser decisions, participant conduct, inaccurate user-supplied information, venue conditions, weather, independent payment arrangements or failures of third-party networks and devices.

If you use CourtNetworks wholly for business purposes, we are not liable for indirect or consequential business loss, or loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, to the extent the law permits.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice and Sub-processors and Service Providers page explain how personal data and browser technologies are handled.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to CourtNetworks, legal requirements, security or the way the service operates.

The current version and effective date will be shown at the top.

If a change is material to existing users, we will use a reasonable method to bring it to their attention.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

For users acting wholly for business purposes, disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales unless different terms are expressly agreed.
